As a Catholic I truly hope that John Kerry never makes it to the presidency. Receiving the Eucharist is certainly a grave problem as it underscores the concept of the 'cafeteria Catholic'--one who picks and chooses what to believe and then professes to be a valid Catholic. On top of it, Kerry had an annulment from his first wife after producing some children with her. This 'selling' of annulments is nearly as shameful (albeit much less horrific) than the pedophile scandals of recent years. John Kerry as president will only further erode the dignity of the Catholic Church in the eyes of the world. He is a secularist like Clinton who wears his religion like a cloak.

On what basis do you claim that annulments are being "sold?"

No one, aside from the parties involved, really knows if Kerry even received an annulment.
