NOTHING else thatis a Christian prayer idol (statues, candles, crucifixes) are ever mentioned in the Bible

Race, Race, Race.

For your "argument" to hold, you need to show that your "definition" of a "Christian prayer idol" not only exists in the Bible (HINT: it doesn't), but its use is clear prohibited (HINT: It's not). Without that, you are promoting a "tradition of men". Such fundamental confusion leads to the unbiblical practice of banning statues in worship contexts.

And while I commend your desire to worship God properly and biblically, it certainly appears that you're relying on faulty teachings. You might try reading the Bible and some good commentaries (I can recommend several) instead of relying on Fundamentalist preachers.

As to your blanket statement, here are a few obvious correctives:

"And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand." -- Rev 8:3-4 (KJV)

"And Solomon made all the vessels that pertained unto the house of the LORD: the altar of gold, and the table of gold, whereupon the shewbread was, And the candlesticks of pure gold, five on the right side, and five on the left, before the oracle, with the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold, And the bowls, and the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner house, the most holy place, and for the doors of the house, to wit, of the temple." -- 1 Kgs 7:48-50 (KJV)

There are several others, but you get the idea (hopefully). God did not forbid the religious use of statues, candles, altars, incense, censors, or any number of necessary accessories. Instead, He actually commanded their use in religious contexts. Does your worship service show such reverence and adherence to God's word?

A Blessed and Happy Easter to All!

Well lookie that - the Bible is full of refrences to "smells" and "bells" (as the Protestants are want to say) worship. A 3D icon like object here or there too...
