When Gilberts story came out in 1995, bishop hubbard had a meeting with to former residents of st. colman's home who witness the severe stick beatings of Gilbert. The beatings started the chain of events that led to Gilberts death. With this information bishop hubbard chosed to do nothing and remain silent. The other death was Mark Longale who was also severely beaten by a nun named sister mary regina. This severe beating also led to his death. Susanne Robertson who witness Marks beating also told the bishop of what she saw. The bishop again chosed to remain silent and do nothing.
