It would behoove you to study all of Scripture, starting with those passages presented below and to cease and desist in misstating the teachings of the Catholic Church. Also, please provide the actual paragraph number from the Catechism that supports your false claim. Hint: the following is what the Catechism actually states:
1727 The beatitude of eternal life is a gratuitous gift of God. It is supernatural, as is the grace that leads us there.

For in due time we shall reap, not failing. Therefore, whilst we have time, let us work good to all men, but especially to those who are of the household of the faith." Galatians 6:6-10
