This revolution may be bloodless

It may be bloodless in the visible realm, but in the spiritual realm it is as bloody a revolution as has ever been seen in human history, comparable only to the protestant revolt and the arian heresy that led to the founding of Islam. Even the terror of the French Revolution led to a great many martyrs whose blood eventually gave life back to the French church (for a time). I think it was Joe Sobran who recently pointed out that even the Bolshevik revolution did not usher in as much moral depravity as the current regime of liberal apostasy. Millions are falling into hell every day, while the hierarchy continues to prattle arrant nonsense about the "rebirth" of the church since Vatican II.

My boss has a term for what you described above:

a "dry martyrdom"

I've never heard that term before, but it's very fitting for the time we live in.
