One must accept the fact of God's election or throw up their hands and say it a mystery of God. But we're perfectly happy with things being a "mystery of God". FAR better than picking some explanation out of a hat and forcing it to fit the situation.

Actually, while researching Calvinism one of the primary complaints I came across over and over again on the many anti-Calvist websites I visited is how Calvins have their "theological ducks in a row" but the theology is "too cold and heartless".
