Ro 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
Ro 9:19 Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will?

Yes ... but God also claims to be loving.

Jhn 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
