Why did you ping the mods from here? Why not FM?

What does it matter how he (or HarleyD or Dr E for that matter) might have pinged the mods?

More importantly, why aren't you asking Quester the same question? If I read his posts right, he's already admitted to being the the one who called in the mods, privately, for them to start monitoring this thread.

You too? I'm not the enemy. He pinged from this thread. It draws attention here. We work things out ourselves. unfortunately we have no say over what a vindictive lurker might do though.
The thread was just suddenly locked last night by Jim. None of us knew why. Then we got a post from him . I freepmailed him. Quester and Mack pinged asking what we had done wrong.
I would not have banned your friends but I don't make the rules. They knew the rules. They posted so lol. I think they were just having a good x and started trying to out do each other and it snowballed and some "sensative person" cried "mommy" Take a poll though. It wasn't me.
