Why don't the Catholics and religious who are offended do some passive resistance? Hold sit in's in front of the dean's office, hold a march and pray? Why don't they just hold a sit in in front of the statue.

Good suggestions. Were I on the scene I would be camped out. From a distance, letters and phones calls, and emails are about all I can do.
