Actually David was quoting Jesus who was the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. In Psalms 22 David also cries out in prophesy prayers from Jesus to the Father.

If anyone wants to know of the brutality of what we put on his body verse 14 of Psalms 22 " I am poured out like water and all my bones are out of joint." and in 17 " I count all my bones they look and stare upon me."
