Short, portly, bald men cannot be 'a working stiff' who lives in 'harsh conditions' or live an ascetic lifestyle which includes a lot of walking?
I would bet that there were a lot of short, portly, bald working stiffs in that day.
Whether Jesus was one, or not, will be a secret until eternity.
