That is the most incomprehensible article I've ever seen!
Roll up your sleeves and fight your client? No, fight for your client? Who is Jones Day?
Then we switch to first-person, which is inane to do when writing an attack piece.
And what's this about the judiciary seeing what side their bread was buttered on? It seems to state that the *judiciary* was stonewalling jurors, which makes no sense. And it very plainly seems to state that the judiciary was acting on behalf of Jones Day as the result of a payoff. That's an enormous accusation... where's the support? Are law firms in Ohio legally allowed to pay for judge's election campaigns? If so, does anyone consider Jones-Day "pillars of the community?"

Perhaps you could find some articles from the Cleveland newspapers that detail the goings on in your diocese?

NYer has done a tremendous job keeping us updated on the goings on in Albany.

I understand your anger that Pilla has been able to hide behind high powered attorneys, but it seems to me your anger is mostly misplaced. I gather Jones Day is a high priced law firm that defends clients to the best of their abilities, even when the clients are scum. But no matter how high an attorney's morals, he can only advise. The client is the one who must step forward and do the right thing. But maybe I'm missing something - newspaper articles would really be helpful.
