From the onset, there was something that just didnt seem right as the author is speaking of the early Christian theology incorporating Greek philosophy. I finally figured out what was bothering me
The Jewish people were under Hellenistic rule from about 334 B.C., i.e. Greek philosophy was infused in Jewish thought and culture long before Christ was born.
