Thanks for the CCHD articles and links. I do not donate anything to the CCHD and for the past couple of years, I donate nothing to the USCCB various collections where the administrative costs eat the majority of donations and some of the programs are questionable (remember the usccb's "ad hoc" committee who stole a copy of "The Passion").
I donate to worthy causes local and international where I know my dollar goes to feed or clothe the needy and/or teach souls about God according to the mind of his Church.
The usccb (a beaurocracy) should be disbanded.
