Something tells me that placemats aren't likely to be in the "documents" section of the libraries.

Maybe Woody can find one.

I'm wondering if Late Great Planet Earth and Left Behind count as primary source materials. They were quite influential.

That depends on which version of Late Great Planet Earth you get. If you want to amuse yourself, try to find the original edition from 1970(?). Look at the failed predictions there. Compare it to the most recent edition, and see the amount of change made.
