If not, I'll leave it there on this thread, as I feel its appropriate. I think your statement, that Free Republic is embarrassed by religious debate, is the bottom line, and was the primary reason the Religion Forum Ghetto was created.

Man.....they aren't embarrassed by religious debate. They are embarrassed when people of faith fail to uphold good standards.

I most certainly have done that. I remember occassionally going to the point where I probably have veins bulging etc. (this forum must provide a release for college frustrations, stress, sexual tension...lol...or something since I keep coming back despite the same stuff being talked about over and over and over again).

Anyway, this is not a "ghetto." It is a way to organize FR more efficiently in my opinion, though I do like being able to see religious posts and debates in the main forum since they are seen by more people. But, I do like the easier access having a separate forum gives you to threads.

Just chill a bit....this isn't intended to stifle debate or make us to be outcasts or something.
