I don't want to start that whole discussion here (I've heard all the arguments on both sides), but let me just say this.
ADD does exist. I have it. I have a child with it. Grades 2-4 Ritalin was a lifesaver. When he started hitting puberty, it stopped working. Dr. tried two other drugs, neither of which worked. I pulled the plug.
Like I said, Grades 2-4 it was a lifesaver. I don't think I'd do it again.
That's ALL I will say about it.
