The "anti-fundamentalist" bigotry rampant here in the Religion cesspool is so pathetic...

I just love pasting in the most commonly used statement on FreeRepublic and replacing the word "anti-catholic" with "anti-fundamentalist"...

Sounds great. Our Lord Jesus Christ died in 33 AD. Where has fundamentalism been for 19 centuries? And who gives "fundamentalists" the authority to interpret the Bible? What is a "literal" interpretation? "This is my body." "This is my blood." "Do this in commemoration of me." If this is taken literally, where is the fundamentalist worship that makes present Our Lord's sacrifice?
