Many say that since you are saved by faith you don't have to do anything. There are others who do many things for God, but as a kind of compulsion, or to earn His approval. There is no joy in it. Many feel tired and 'burnt out.' Both need to learn the Hebrew word MACHOL - it means 'dance.'
If you ever watched a bride dance with her groom you can hardly tell who is leading. They seem to move effortlessly. It seems to be a perfect dance, all planned out even before they do it. This is the way it is to be with God. The Bible says we are His bride. And what bride doesn't dance with her Bridegroom? we do need to have works in our salvation. But works means, simply, to move with God, to move as He moves, to move as one, in the dance of love. It means never moving alone - but let Him lead and follow Him. Dance with God today, in the dance of love, the dance of the bride and Groom
TODAY'S MISSION
Make the Lord Master of all you do today. Do everything as His loving partner, in complete faith and trust. Take joy in doing His work and seeking His will.
Really, really, good stuff. But when we dance the ego cuts in [the flesh].
