In Hebrew the word, KAHVADE means 'heavy.' It's the word Moses uses in Numbers 11:14 when he says, "I am not able, alone, to bear this people, it's too Kah-Vade, too heavy for me.'' Many things in this world are heavy, and for those of you who live in it, it is easy to start getting heavy. It is easy to get weighed down by all the problems, worries, anxieties, fears and conflicts. Are you feeling heavy? Probably - because you live on earth. God wants you light.
Even though the world weighs 6.6 sextillion tons- it floats. You can see that if you leave the atmosphere and go into space. If you do that, you will find that you also float. All weight, all heaviness goes out the window. Do you want to be light? Then break the gravity of your problems. Stop dwelling on the world and lift the eyes of your heart to heaven and to the blessings of God. Leave the details, the worries, the burdens behind and set your eyes on Him who loves you, for there, it is written, your life is in the Heavenlies with Him - where there is no gravity.
TODAY'S MISSION
Write down one obstacle that has weighed you down in your walk. Ask for the Lord's help to remove it. Move on with a 'lightness' in your step to proclaim His Word and share His gift of Love.
It also means "liver" in Hebrew as well.
