The Miracle Position

Israel was surrounded. God told Hezekiah and the people to go down to the battlefield and take their stand. So they did. The enemy armies fell into confusion and turned on each other. It was a miracle of God. Did they have to do anything? No..it was all the Lord. And yes, they had to get into position for the miracle.

In the same way, the Book of Acts is filled with miracles, but it wouldn't have been filled with miracles if the disciples and apostles just sat all day, and stayed home. They had to get in position for the miracle. They had to get out, obey the Lord, spread the Word. Do you need a miracle in your life? Get into the center of God's will, the place of repentance, the place of righteousness, the place of service, ministry, the place of victory. Take your post and your stand. The miracle will come. God has planned a miracle...you just have to be there.

Stop dwelling on your problems. Trust in the Lord, bring Him all your difficulties. Sing a song of victory today.

I believe that the greatest of God's miracles, is when someone invites Jesus into their life, and that person is changed forever.

It may be worth noting while the gospel spread throughout Jerusalem because of the apostles, the spread of the gospel throughout Asia was a result of the persecution of Stephen, a lay leader of the church. Stephen was chosen as lay leader by the apostles because the apostles didn't feel they should have to "wait tables". It must have been a humbling experience that God will chose to use who He will to work His Will.
