Two Great Resources on Islam

Answering Islam: The Crescent in Light of the Cross http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0801064309/terraspacedock

Norman L. Geisler, Ph.D., is president of Southern Evangelical Seminary and the author of more than fifty books, including the Baker Encyclopedia of Christian Apologetics. Abdul Saleeb is a former Muslim who has intensively studied differences between Christianity and Islam. What are the fundamental beliefs of Islam and how can Christians respond to them? Answering Islam evaluates the claims of orthodox Islam and examines the evidence for the Christian counterclaim, preparing you with strong apologetic answers. This revised edition contains more resources and updated information throughout.

*** The Sword of the Prophet: History, Theology, Impact on the World http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1928653111/terraspacedock

This exceptionally fluid argument against militant Islam reports more Islamic savagery than Robert Spencer's IslamUnveiled and critiques Muslim theology more thoroughlythan Timothy George's Is the Father of Jesus the God of Muhammad? Its most important distinction is Trifkovic's insistencethat the "problem [for the West] is not prejudice about Islam, butfolly in the face of its violence and cruelty," manifested today insuch horrors as the ongoing slaughter of Sudanese Christians and theappalling anti-Semitism of the Islamic press and such Islamic legalauthorities as the mufti of Jerusalem. Trifkovic doesn't endorse war againstIslam. Instead, the West must defend itself against Islamic aggression(e.g., by restricting immigration and reducing dependence onIslamic-controlled oil) and help non-Muslims oppressed in Islamicsocieties. Powerful stuff powerfully presented.

truth finder, Islam is not of God! If you did the research you would find that islam came about after the creation of the old testiment. Also you can find many problems and in consistancys in the islam teaching. When you accept Jesus Christ as your personnel Savior, the Holy Spirit that will come into your heart, body, mind, and soul, will guide you to all truths! Just that simple, the most basic problem with many people they do not want to put faith to work. Faith is things not see, but hoped for. It does not require you to be a rocket scintist to have faith in God. Just a man or woman that truely is seeking truth, and the real reasons why we are on this planet at this very crucial time on this earth. Missionary David Galindo

No, nor to take the trouble to read the post which Truthfinder has put up.

He is not promoting Islam at all those sites are critical of it. Ib, you remind of those dumb Christian missionaries in the Middle East, who attack Arab Christians, calling them "wicked Muzleeems".
