The question which needs to be asked is why is a cop
(along with hospital staff) so ignorant of the U.S. Constitution that he doesn't know that he has no authority to deny someone Catholic sacraments (protected as freedom of religion in the U.S. as I understand the Constitution)?
This really needs to be pursued, explored, and exposed throughly. Um...ahem....WHAT PUBLIC STATEMENTS has the local bishop offered on this? What TV appearances did the bishop and diocesan officials request to voice their concerns about this attack on someone's Catholic faith and
constitutional rights as an American? WHO is representing and defending the CATHOLIC FAITH in this fever swamp of Florida?

The Catholics are helping Terri. It's pretty sad that an officer of the law can refuse a Priest to give a woman Holy Communion because he has a Court Order. It's pretty sad that the cops at Hospice Woodside are taking orders from the Hospice Director who are taking orders from hubby's attorney and/or Judge Greer.

It's a syndicate of killers and they are using law enforcement to encroach upon Terri's religious freedoms.

The media edited the cop saying "no" out of their coverage, and then added Attorney Felos at the end saying that "Terri had Holy Communion."

The media orchestrated that LIE. Felos controls the local media imo. He doesn't control the national media however. THANK GOD HIMSELF FOR THAT.

Ironically enough, with regard to Terri Schiavo, her catholic rights are being administered by an 81 year old priest and Fr. Rob Johansen, a very young priest, who received permission from his bishop in Michigan(!) to drive down there and help out. You can follow his comments here ..

THROWN BACK Blog .

As Fr. Rob notes on his blog ....

"Firstly, Msgr. Malanowski is very grateful that I'm here. He had all but exhausted himself in the past two weeks in being with the family and their supporters for 18-20 hours a day. Because I'm here, he's been able to take a break. He took a long nap Friday afternoon, and feels much better for having gotten some decent sleep. He's very grateful to all of you for helping me to get here.

Msgr. Malanowski has told me that one of the greatest disappointments he has had is the lack of support from local clergy or the diocese. I am the only priest, besides monsignor, that has been with the family or at the Hospice keeping vigil with Terri's supporters since the feeding tube was removed. I can't tell you how happy people are to see me when they come here to join the supporters: they're truly grateful to see a priest with them "on the line". "

Of course, Terri also has "us" - members of the church militant and many others working behind the scenes, like Pete Vere, the author of this letter, who are working tirelessly to help bring this story to the world audience.

At this point, we must also have FAITH!
