As Arnold Schwarzenegger gets ready to set up office in Sacramento, he might want to put a Bloomberg at the top of his list.
I'm refer ring, of course, not to the New York mayor but to the ubiquitous market data machine Bloomberg created decades ago. That's because as Schwarzenegger begins to govern, the mood at Wall and Broad Streets may be more important to his success than the mood at Hollywood and Vine.

....it was the crashing of the dot-com bubble and California's unusual dependence on the tax dollars it spawned that turned the Golden State from a riches-to-rags story overnight..... As a result, Gray Davis can now add his name to the list of famous figures felled by the bursting of the stock market bubble. Sure graydavis gets the "credit" for that but will he take the blame. Oh, I forgot. That's our job (/sarcasm). LOL.

While there is some truth here this article it ignores many of the very real problems that exist in CA that a bull market nation wide cannot fix .#1 the workmans comp system needs to be fixed ASAP this is driving buisiness out of the state and in many cases out of buisiness. That's only the tip of the Iceburg but if Arnold can get that fixed it'll go along way toward fixing CA and in turn fixing the rest of the economy.

Arnold will get help from the recovery as the Bull Market enters its second year.
However, he need help in rolling back the anti business and pro socialism laws and behavior of the last 5 years from Davis and the perverts in the California legislature.
Workmen's comp is driving businesses either into closing their doors or to other states.
Herr Davis just signed the mandatory health insurance bill that will require businesses to provide health insurance for their employees. This will drive more businesses away.
Due to wet winters and springs, Davis's power rats have been able to avoid electrical blackouts by pouring the water out of our dams the past 3 summers and 3 Indian Summers. Our state is still woefully short on power plants.
The Green Jihadist Enviral Nazis have made electricity made from coal a crime. New power plants must be natural gas. Natural Gas supplies can't keep up the demand again thanks to the Enviral Nazis. So any electricity generated by natural gas power plants could cost a lot more than last year. This extra cost will be passed on to businesses and the public.
Businesses need a steady/predictable and reasonable cost supply of electricity to operate. They will not stay if a state can provide reliable electricity at a reasonable cost.
The irony of all of this is the anti business Davis and his swarm of maggots in Sacramento have lost their jobs as businesses left the state combined with the recession which started in the spring of 2000.
The rat idiots fail to realize that they need strong businesses and a healthy Califonia economy for their political survival. So when they work 24/7 to weaken business in California, about every 10 years our economic cycle goes to hell. Then, they lose their political jobs when we vote them out of office.
So Arnold will get a helping hand from the improved business cycle. However, California needs about 6 years or pro business laws and regulations that dismantle the anti business regulations of the last 5 years before our economy is on stable grounds again.

Arnold is going to have to bypass the legislature and take it directly to "the people." They are the ones who put him in office b/c of digust with graydavis and his bankrupt policies.
Arnold must tell Cali citizens that the legislature is standing in the way of his making the changes they want. He has to keep pointing out the obstructionist Cali legislature is circumventing the will of Cali citizens.

The % of Californians for the recall and the combined vote % for Arnold and Tom is a loud and clear message for most of the perverts in the California legislature.
That messages is very simple: "Unless you are a pervert from San Francisco and San Francisco Bay area, you will be in the next political garbage dumpster if you stand in the way of reform."
Arnold may have the second leg of the bull market to ride and help him:
