Metrosexual Eight & One NAG Debate

Wesley Clark, a newly minted Democrat and candidate for that party’s presidential nomination, is struggling. His campaign guy quit because Clark’s true handlers - the Clintons - shoved out the very volunteers Clark claims drafted him into running!
The hacks have taken over the campaign, and plan to explain to Clark what he believes and have him give four political speeches to parrot what he’s been taught. Until then, the hacks hope voters will be distracted by the shiny stars on Clark’s shoulder - stars which, as Democrats have pointed out, he had to beg Clinton for.
In the audio link below, I talk at length about the man we call “Ashley Wilkes” after the Village Voice’s Richard Goldstein equated Clark with that wimpy, pathetic Gone with the Wind character and Bill Clinton to Rhett Butler. Clark is just sitting around waiting for some Scarlett to tell him what he believes.
Here’s a guy who voted for Nixon and Reagan, and spoke glowingly of President Bush and his team after supporting the war to liberate Iraq only a few months ago, who’s changed on a moment’s notice to say he believes the opposite of all those things!
Clark has even gone so far as to redefine “patriotism” as criticizing the president in war time no matter what he does. Of course, these were the same people who said “politics stopped at the water’s edge” if you even gently questioned Clinton and Clark bombing the heck out of Serbia from 50,000 feet. Clark reminds me of the “metrosexual” men we’ve been reading about quit a bit lately.
The metrosexual man is a guy who's not gay, but is just really feminine from his shoes to his hair gel to his clothes to shopping. This is an attempt by men to do what they think women want, which is the reason men do everything. Unfortunately for these guys, there’s been a backlash against women who want a man to be a man and leave the “thread count” to them.
In the links below, you can read and hear me comment on a story by Brad Jones in the Minnesota Daily headlined: “‘Metrosexuals,’ Straight Guys Makes Life Tough for Real Gay Men”. Jones is a gay man who can’t stand stereotypical gay behavior, but finds metrosexual guys even more irritating still!
So much for the comments by Carol Moseley Braun in last night’s debate that men had “ruined” the country, eh, folks?

Actually, those addicted to painkillers seldom have any mental side effects. They keep taking the drug in order to avoid withdrawal symptoms (and sometimes actual injury pain), not to feel "high." That's why so many people who would never mess with "recreational" drugs fall prey to this addiction. Brett Favre is a good exmple, IIRC, he lead the Packers deep into the playoffs while addicted to Vicadin.
