WOUNDED PHARMACIST SHOOTS SUSPECT DURING STRUGGLE

It is alleged that Mr. Cole came in to Renegar's Drugstore (co-owned by Danny Law) and asked for an injectin of Demerol which he could not have without a prescription. Mr. Law allegedly realized the situation was going to deteriorate and asked the man to step in to the back away from a room full of customers.

The man did so and in the process of complying with the man's request, Mr. Law allegedly asked the man to put the gun down in order to perform the injection. The suspect did so and Mr. Law allegedly grabbed the gun. At that moment, the suspect allegedly pulled out a secondary weapon and fired at Mr. Law, hitting him in the leg. Realizing now his life was in jeopardy, Mr. Law allegedly began to struggle with the suspect and in the process allegedly somehow Mr. Cole was shot twice.

Danny Law is a Godly, christian man who is a faithful member of the church of Christ and is VERY concerned about Mr. Cole, not wanting for him to die. I am amazed that he can have that kind of attitude toward someone who might have tried to kill him. Many individuals would have shot Mr. Cole repeatedly and made sure he was deceased. However, this man, having Mr. Cole's life in his hands and with the full support of the law in regard to self-defense, did not continue to shoot Mr. Cole until he had killed him. Makes one wonder about the difference in teaching between what Mr. Law believes and what Islam teaches. I am going to review my own attitude because I would have killed Mr. Cole on Tuesday, October 7 if I were the pharmacist.

It is EXTREMELY unusual for a perpetrator like this to carry a backup weapon and this is a disturbing development in the robbery pattern. Our nation is simply going to HAVE to go back to condemning people who make attempts on the lives of innocents and execute them quickly, preferably publicly.

I couldn't help but think that Ronald Huel Cole, the perp, is actually the victim of a liberal public school education. He remembers that, as a child in school, the teacher ordered him to stand and asked, "Ronald! Is that gum in you mouth? DID YOU BRING ENOUGH GUM FOR EVERYONE?"

As an adult, he remembered that lesson and brought a gun for everyone! Yeah, that's how I see it.

Well, I can understand then why you would disagree. However, my God says through the writer in:

Proverbs 24:17 Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles;

So, Mr. Law has the right attitude even though he had to fight for his life. I know it is difficult to have that thought towards someone who tries to kill you...but Jesus did...asking for forgiveness for his own executioners and pardoning a murderer hanging adjacent to him on the cross.
