When Mark does Rush's show, he gets a sub for his own. He's done it 3 times, and IMO has gotten better each time.

I agree!! Rush needs to air from rehab, although from what I have learned, this is a very serious addiction and hard to kick. He needs 24/7 therapy and would not be able to keep up with the "news", but we could all just fill him in for three hours a day!!!

That's an interesting idea, Princess.

Mary Matalin is great on the radio. We used to listen to her all the time. She had very interesting guests. Drudge came on a lot and he was soooo much better than he is on his own show, which I have basically stopped listening to.

She had Camille Paglia occasionally. She also had writers of interesting new books. She was a good interviewer.

Of course we had to put up with those Carville kids running through the studio, but I really enjoyed her.

I hate to admit this, so why am I?

Well, I dunno. The fact is my sig other tapes Rush for me every day and after I listen I discard the tapes or use them again.

Well, today, I gathered up all of last week's tapes and put them away safely in a drawer just in case I realllly need a Rush fix.

Perhaps I need to check myself into some facility for a while.

Have to agree with you about Hedgecock.

The others are all good people, but Roger is the only one who approaches the energy level and liveliness of Rush.

I really enjoy him.
