Gee, I wonder what the amazing wissler thinks about this?

This sounds like a "stand-up" move on Rush's part -- again, he's not claiming "victim" status, and he's not looking for "admiration"... he's taking personal responsibility which is the "adult" thing to do.

We will all wait with baited breath for the Democrats to come after him like the pack of hounds that they are, whenever a Republican is "down" or "exposed." I've seen what addiction can do to a person, and it isn't pretty. Good for Rush for stepping up and doing what he has to. It will be a huge challenge but I suspect he has the strength and fortitude to see it through. More than I can say for most Dems addicted to their statist programs, victomology, and politics of personal destruction.

I thought the press in general pretty much laid of the Rush and drugs story. I heard more about it on talk radio than in the newspaper here (LA Times) or on television. The cable news shows didn't do their usual thing, bringing out the panels and discussing speculation ad nauseum for hours.
