Only two ways to get cheap prescription drugs: one would be to hire Rush Limbaugh's housekeeper. The other way would be to elect me, so I enact some giveaway prescription drug welfare program.
That's a rough paraphrase.

Has he got a cold, or did he bust a vocal cord choking on his bong? </kidding>
But he does sound like he has a cold or something.
To: ch53gunner
He said the only two places to get prescription drugs was something like the pharmacy and Rush Limbaugh's housekeeperIt is a pretty good joke.

Al Rantel (KABC radio in LA) had the National Enquirer reporter that broke the story for an hour last night.
What he had to say about audio tapes & emails was damning.
The guy was doing impressions of Rushs voice asking for pills.

Pretty cheezy. I can't believe the Democrat presidential wannabes, guys who would like to occupy the world's most powerful political office, are sniping at a talkshow host, a glorified disk jockey, calling him out by name. If you ask me, it lowers them and raises Rush. Can you imagine Bush complaining about Al Franken?

What Rush is saying is different than some accounts; some said Roy was shaken like a rag doll.

After reading #20, I am convinced that Drudge gets his news from FR:
Last night from Liberty above:
However, despite what I have read here tonight, tomorrows show will have one striking revelation
From Drudge this morning:
RUSH LIMBAUGH TO ADDRESS RECENT MEDIA REPORTS... DEVELOPING...
To: All
To: MNLDS
Pathetic. Like I said in #18, this guy is running for *President of the United States of America* and he's taking time in public to take personal shots (based on unproven allegations initially broken in the National Inquirere) at a *talkshow host*. If you ask me, that's a pretty unseemly asymmetry.
To: VRWC_minion
I didn't think it was funny at all - and I've tried to be objective about it. In a debate by those who want to lead the greatest nation on the planet, it seemed snippy and churlish. Now, if we're to judge presidential material by "clever" sound bites, then we get what we deserve. Though, I'm not even sure that Kerry would win any match of wits. He's a dud.

I have no inside skinny on Rush's alleged pill thing, but I think anyone who can lose as much weight as he did can beat any addiction.
Losing substantial weight and keeping it off takes as much will power as beating a chemical dependency. He was able to do that and could beat a pill thing too if he had it.
That is why I thing the allegation is not true.

The John Kerry remark was as follows...
"There are two ways for you to have lower prescription drug costs. One is you could hire Rush Limbaugh's housekeeper, or you can elect me president of the United States. I want you to do the latter, and here's why: The prescription drug companies have not been held accountable."
Sounds like a cheap shot to me...

What is Rush up to? He is talking about good people/bad people. Eh?
He sure does not sound like a guy that has a big problem....
To: anniegetyourgun
Give me a break. Rush has made plenty of jokes at the "french-looking" John Kerry's expense. I can't believe that people are actually getting riled up over this. I've seen thicker skin on a bowl of pudding.

I didn't mean from Rush, I just meant leaks to the media. You would think media leaks from the Palm Beach DA/PD would be occurring. But nothing?
To: PMCarey
Can you imagine Bush complaining about Al Franken?Exactly! I can't imagine a president lowering himself like that. This sniping at Limbaugh is completely unpresidential.
To: Yardstick
See #31 - great minds!
