A lot of liberals like to identify themselves as moderates. They are so far to the left that in their minds they have dragged the politcal spectrum with them. They also have the benefit of the mainstream media identifying people like Chuck Schumer and Diane Feinstein as "moderates". So if I agree with Chuck Schumer, I must be a...moderate!
