"Nine young employees of Protect Condoms, based in a Denver suburb, gave out packets containing two condoms and a "presexual agreement" drafted by a lawyer that couples can sign to prove they are having consensual sex. "
Sign a legal document to have sex? Bizarre!

It's a sad day when you have to sign a legal contract before having sex just to prove it is consensual.

Almost in her next breath, Mackey infuriated both the judge and the prosecution by suggesting the woman's injuries were "consistent with a person who has had sex with three different men in three days." What an incredibly stupid thing for a defense attorney to have said.
She might as well be working for the prosecution.

Sorry, in America both sides get to put on a case.

I dunno, I think this is gonna come down to a case of he said/she said. If I wasn't in a hurry to get to ready for work, I could probably make an analogy between this girl with Kobe and Roy with the tiger.

What an incredibly stupid thing for a defense attorney to have said.Desperation tactic. Defense's only hope is to take shots at the victim, damage her in the minds of future jurors, try to upset her emotionally so that she appears unstable when cross examined during the trial. Looks bad for Kobe. Just a probable cause hearing and his lawyers already going scorched earth.

He said, she said? Prosecuters rarely go on her word against his. They want witnesses and/or physical evidence. They would never go after a high profile name without enough of a case to bring him down.

To you and others: I am curious about the blood on his shirt and the swiftness with which law enforcement retrieved and tested it. Does anyone on FR have additional information about this?
Wouldn't the blood evidence be enough to offset the "he said, she said" kind of case the defense is making it to be?
Best to you,
Penny

Kobe's attorney is Pam McKay and the judge told her to basically, shut her foul little mouth.
Was having a female attorney suppose to tell people "look, I'm a woman just like the supposed victim and she's a rag in my eyes" so it must be so. Stupid women tactics but I'm sure she's being paid quite well.

I dunno, I think this is gonna come down to a case of he said/she said. Not with the damning physical evidence.

Have to go back to the beginning where Kobe lied through his teeth. Oops, DNA showed up. Kobe confesses on national TV with "beloved"(?) wife by his side. Then comes the $4 mill ring. Amuse me some more!

She's not stupid. This kind of excrement has worked for her before. That's why Bryant hired her. He's getting exactly what he paid for.

Almost in her next breath, Mackey infuriated both the judge and the prosecution by suggesting the woman's injuries were "consistent with a person who has had sex with three different men in three days." What the &#$*? Projection is the attribution of one's own attitudes, feelings, or suppositions to others, which leads me to wonder if Mackey has had sex with three different men in three three days and that sex resulted in injuries to her virgina.
And does this even make sense? Is a woman injured by having sex for three days in a row? I don't think so! Does Mackey think that the good folks in CO don't have sex very often? Maybe she thinks tht if they do it three days in a row they'll go blind.
