Did anyone hear him today? I heard that he didn't sound too good.

It's been mentioned on two other threads, that Rush opened todays show saying he was somewhat fatigued and apologized if anyone noticed. Said he didn't know why.
After 15 years of fighting the Demlibs at every turn, I'd get fatigued too.

I heard the start of the show and he said he was tired.
Gee, if he has been ingesting that much stuff (very doubtful) imagine how much better he will be on air if he gets himself straightened out.
I don't think Rush Limbaugh is going anywhere. But what if he did? He's pulled in 100+ million in the last 36 months. So, if he is "toast" he's "buttered toast". With diamonds.
I've listened to Rush Limbaugh on and off and other than when his hearing was going he's never sounded high.
No matter what, I wish him well.

He sounded like he normally sounds when he has a lot of intelligent callers, and a lot to talk about in three hours. He was excited to the point where he missed some conversation from overtalk with the callers. He was pumped,he disagreed with george will, and showed great insight, and intelligence disecting the op-ed piece with the callers. He stammered a bit,but he was on his game. It seemed to me that he sounded like he is over the hump of bad publicity of late.

You heard he didn't sound too good? I actually listened to him today and he was fine, fine, fine! My advice is not to take someone else's opinion and then spread it around as fact.

I noticed this too. His voice sounded very, very slightly like it did when he was losing his hearing, although I may be wrong. He seemed to act differently twoard his callers, as well. My biggest fear is that he knows something bad is coming down the pike, and he is using his time on the air to the fullest, doing things a little differently than he normally would--for example, interacting on a more personal level with his callers. I'm praying for you El Rushbo!!! I know that what ever happens, good or bad, you will come out battle hardened and tempered.

You heard wrong. He was in rare form... bright and articulate.
