Do we all feel a great deal safer knowing that 65 y.o. Tommy Chong is imprisoned? Oh ever so much safer. It's so reassuring to know that this master criminal is behind bars.

Rosa Parks and those who fought for civil rights did what they did because they believed what the Constitution says about the freedom of all Americans. saw an injustice in the law of the day, and worked to change the law. I support relegalization of drugs because I believe what the Constitution says about the limitations of federal power and what Thomas Jefferson said about the proper limits of all government (see my tagline and FR home page).

Drug warriors should be given one chance to stop advocating the unconstitutional WOD and then shot for Treason.

Another nice dodge. Its no dodge. If you want to obey the law, then do so. I would suggest that you do so, but I have no enforcement powers to compel you to.

we can start a campaign (like the lyndon larouse) to free chong.. we want bongs! ha ha ha (just kidding)
However, I DO not agree with him being in jail for this.. how stupid and a waste of our time and $$$.
Go get a real terrorist.
Ummmm. maybe legalize drugs or decriminize them so people can grow it legally.. stop the $$ going to the south american terrorist!
To: MrLeRoy
To equate the right to vote and to not be discriminated against because of one's skin color with wanting the right to ingest illegal drugs is shameful. Shame on you.

Had you been alive in colonial times, would you have supported the Revolution, been loyal to the Crown, or remained neutral?I wasn't alive in Colonial times.
Why are you afraid to give a straight answer to a simple question? (I would have supported the Revolution.)

Drug users should get one chance to stop. Drug sellers should be shot. Does that mean that Rush should be in the slammer too?

To equate the right to vote and to not be discriminated against because of one's skin color with wanting the right to ingest illegal drugs is shameful. I also find it very telling that you (righfully) support Rosa Parks' law breaking in support of her Constitutional civil rights not to be discriminated against, yet you do not support people breaking the law in support of their civil rights to keep and bear arms.

I did not "equate" them, nor am I the least bit ashamed for supporting our Constitution and the full range of liberties with which we were endowed by our Creator.

really? the company that was manufacturing urineluck was in cincinnati and i accidently stumbled upon them when i was selling ibm stuff and they wanted us to help automate their backoffice software and shipping process. i had to turn down the work as it was not the kind of exposure we wanted.

I've recently noticed a less pungent aroma is in the air.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary Houghton argued that Chong grew wealthy glamorizing drug use and trivializing law enforcement in his films and said Chong used his characters to promote his business. This is wrong on so many levels. Robert Englund (Freddy Kruger), and any other actor who has done something illegal on film take note! The thought-police are watching!

The funny thing was, the product didn't work and those that took the standard drug tests failed in spite of the product maker's claims. That's is funny! It is amazing how simple it is to pass a drug test...and yet people go out and buy stuff like this! Hmm...I seem to recall something about "a sucker born every minute"...

And how does this axiom apply to Mr. Chong?
