[SOUTH KOREAN DMZ-THURSDAY]
Once again, human rights organizations opposed to the brutal Kim Jong-il Stalinist dictatorship in North Korea, made efforts in a village near the S. Korean DMZ, to launch a series of 'propaganda balloons' with small AM frequency radios attached, hoping they would reach the North. But their efforts were thwarted by political correctness and appeasement.
The objective today was to reach everyday North Korean citizens who could then tune into private S. Korean and other Free World and Christian AM radio broadcasts to hear what is happening in the outside, free world.
[Communist North Korean radios are soldered and manufactured to allow citizens to only listen to several, government controlled radio stations and frequencies]. Recent reports show the greatest immeditate threat to Kim Jong-il and his police state is steady infiltration of outside news and with it, hopes for regime change at the grassroots. North Korean officials have recently stepped up warnings for the people not to listen to outside broadcasts, and continue with their own brainwashing propaganda for hours on end and in every aspect of the peoples' lives.
As in an attempt made two months ago in Chorlweon, S. Korea, the anti-North Korean human rights volunteers were roughed up by S. Korean police and prevented from launching the balloons/mini-radios today. Below follows the URL to the video streaming (Windows Media format) in both 56k and 300k, from Japanese TV. This short video stream shows the S. Korean police (on orders from the appeasing, pro-Communist S. Korean liberal regime) stepping in to stop the effort, once again.
It is said they will keep trying, and may perhaps embark on more clandestine methods to get the mini-radios aloft.

Appropriate.
He would be SO ANGRY about this if he saw the video.
He might well have said: "Mr. Roh (liberal S. Korean President), stand DOWN those policemen!"
Or is this already being done, and the video is just an example of the South's State-sponsored insanity.
Republican allies are our enemies ... beijing --- calling beijing !
Well, that is fine for a while, but after several rough ups and failed efforts, you are right, it is time for them to take to the hills quietly near Chorlweon or Kumhwa or the Punchbowl highlands, and let those babies go without any fan fare. Also, they should launch thousands if they can, and not only by land, but from the Yellow Sea and Sea of Japan if they can, when the winds are right.
