WOULD YOU NOT TARRY WITH ME ONE HOUR?

Posted on 10/09/2003 3:37:25 PM PDT by PrepareToLeave

I'm not sure how long it will take me to get to Clearwater, but God willing I'll be at The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 300 East Bay Drive, Largo, FL sometime Saturday morning to pray. Just one to stand with me for God and Terri and we'd have the agreement we need for a "mighty intervention". Listen.....do you hear a call?

what's fun is to knock down a few beers and THEN go A-Freepin'...it generally comes back to haunt you the next morning when you click on "posts to you".

Ahhh, memories of A+Bert, although he didn't seem to be haunted. And I don't think he was drinking beer.

A lone Freeper driving from Texas to Florida to stand in support for Terri Schiavo is news!

Evidently not :'(. I posted under news with this link. All I got was complaints that this thread couldn't be posted again. No one seemed to care about what was happening but only that I wasn't following format so I had the AM delete it.

Because of "legalities" she told me I could not pray for Terri in the Chapel.-- PreparedToLeave

HUH? That doesn't sound right.

Thank you for the ping, Cindy.

PrepareToLeave, thank you for being there for Terri. I'll pass this on to others tomorrow...including some of the silent 200 or so churches in Pinellas County, Fl.

Stay safe and well in what you do -- it's hard being on the road and in a strange place. I do hope you will find some friends there. Terri's parents are Bob & Mary Schindler. My prayers are joined with yours and others here. This is a hard situation.

This is so telling about the attitudes in FL. It will be interesting to see how many pastors and church congregants endorse the retention of George W. Greer in 2004.

HOW ABOUT A SUNDAY GATHERING AT HOSPICE? I just logged on and didn't know about this morning until this afternoon.

I think I did enough stuff since the hearing Friday. I outed a Judge for adultery who is a Family Law Judge in Pinellas County, I called Jeb's office, faxed Jeb's office, and emailed Jeb's office about the BOYCOTT OF FLORIDA BEING DISCUSSED by Terri supporters who are not from Florida.

If anyone goes to the Hospice tomorrow, let me know. I'd like to go Sunday mid-day, noonish?

This is amazing. There is so little freedom in the FL of Janet Reno and the same with Charles Crist and Jeb Bush. People even block prayers in a hospital chapel or ask the nature of a prayer. I had no idea until Terri's case how little freedom there is in FL.

A boycott would be fine for us outside FL, as most of us would have no real desire to go there again. I was last in FL in the summer of 1989. Would this boycott mean that we would have to go back to the worse-tasting Minute Maid instead of the better tasting Tropicana, made in Bradenton?
Seriously though, we are far too few to make any kind of difference. Even the Southern Baptists could not dent the poplarity of the socially liberal Walt Disney World with their boycott a few years back. FL is effectively under liberal control, even as conservatives elect the governor, most of the congressmen, and the majority of the legislators. It's those liberal FL judges that have the real power.

Why would you need an appointment to go to Terri's Hospice? They have a big parking lot and there's land around it for a freep.

Whatever happened to the freedom of assembly? Since when are we told we can or can't go somewhere? What's up with that? I just need the address where TERRI IS AND I'LL BE THERE. Can anyone tell me? Thanks, FV

Could not pray for Terri in the Chapel?? Who was "she?" Thought chapels belonged to God.

I'm in the vicinity. I'd prefer a freepmail to a cell phone number for SUNDAY. Can we get more than two people together? Safety in numbers, etc.

Hospice, the killers don't want any trouble in their chapel apparently. WE ARE TERRI'S FAMILY IMO.

Remember that Attorney Felos used to be on the Hospice Board. I'm sure he drafted the Chapel Rules before he left there to work on the pre-meditated killing of Terri.
