There is something incredibly arrogant and wrongful when another nation WARNS the United States of America against ENFORCING its own immigration laws.

This takes it into the surreal.

Hope Arnold simply sends a simple, direct reply.

In the United States, we are bound to follow our rule of law. I intend to do just that.

Perhaps it was a Fruedian slip on Mexico's part....thinking that California is already theirs!

How about this:
Any 'immigrants' caught trying to enter this country, not at a regular border crossing, should have their photos and fingerprints taken, and this documentation given back to them before their release, in the form of a plastic I.D. card. The release should then be back into Mexico.
They could then be told to use this identification the next time they enter, through the regular border crossing ONLY.

They can also be instructed to present this basic I.D. when applying for a job or driver's license within California, or any other state.

Eventually, a majority of Mexicans will realize the only practical way into this country is through the FRONT door, not across the river or the desert.

This tide of refugees cannot be stopped, but at least it should be properly directed in a humane manner, that brings all immigrants to the same level of basic documentation as the rest of us legal residents have to bear.
