Funny, though, none of these translations makes any serious doctrinal difference. Of course, for something like that you could look at the Jehovah Witnesses' New World "translation." There they have deliberately altered the Greek text or mistranslated it to conform to certain distinctive Russellite doctrines.

Can't argue with you on that finer point... I simply found the first large list of Bibles to make a visual point.
However, you also know (as you showed by talking about the Jehovah's Witnesses) that there are many Bibles that are not in doctrinal agreement. How many generations will it take before Christians can't discuss doctrine with each other AT ALL?
The Bible is the inerrant Word of God but only one institution has protected its inerrancy for 2,000 years.
