Naked bodies form protest against genetic engineering (Nude Protest Alert)

Eleven people have laid naked on the lawn of New Zealand's Parliament to protest about government plans to lift a ban on genetically engineered plants and animals.
The 11 bodies and one fully-clothed woman spelt out "No GE" against the green grass, watched by half a dozen security guards.
Protest organizer Valerie Morse said the naked protest was a metaphor for New Zealand, which she said could be "stripped bare" by genetic engineering.
"We've got some of the most unique flora and fauna in the world and if we release GE into the environment we just simply have no idea what the effects are going to be long term," she said.
One protester, who only wanted to be known as John, said silly stunts were necessary because the Labour-led government was ignoring the views of 3.5 million people who did not want genetic engineering released into the environment.
Labour has said it will end a two-year moratorium on releasing genetically altered plants and animals from laboratories for field trials when it expires on October 29, despite 69 percent of poll respondents saying they wanted the ban extended.
Protesters said the moratorium should remain for another five years. The Green Party, with nine lawmakers in the 120-seat Parliament, has also demanded a five-year extension to the present ban.
Environment Minister Marian Hobbs said the government won't further delay lifting the ban nor impose stricter conditions.

The 11 bodies and one fully-clothed woman I say those who lack full-monty comittment to the cause should remain on the sideline.

If only other groups would realize what an effective, substantial statement can be made by laying out nude on the lawn to protest.
We should notify the NFL cheerleaders union and the fashion models union in case they have any grievances.

No kidding!
If the left wants to gain support for its causes, it should stop fat, white, hairy women from taking off their clothes.

In Seattle, my
brother's softball team saw signs
saying there'd be nude
protesting by some
women's group in the same park.
They postponed their game
and went to the green
to watch. It turned out to be
real naked women,
but protesters were
a union of lesbian
electric workers...
My brother said guys
wanted to throw hot dogs, but
the girls looked too tough...

Once edgy, this "Nude Protestor" stuff is getting passé.

(Yes, I KNOW it's been retouched)

That's Dominique Swain. She starred with Jermy Irons in "Lolita." I have no problem with fur, but I am glad PETA is continuing these ads with hotties getting nekkid for critters. Too bad Brittany backed out at the last minute.
Less than 5 years from now, she's going to be posing for Playboy anyway, but her hard living will have taken its toll on her looks by then.

Must be large twins on the I and E? LOL. I've seen that picture posted here many times. Never looked closely enough to notice that. Are you one of those guys who lingers on scrambled channels on cable?
