Tumar Alexander, 28, an assistant managing director earning $63,000 annually, is charged with one count of terroristic threats - a first-degree misdemeanor.

The guy is built like an NFL lineman. I wonder if he has any sort of college degree. Things are looking quite nasty in the City of Brotherly Love.

That is what I thought as well, regarding a protocol for law enforcement. But on the news reports Sylvester Johnson looked and sounded nervous (this could be my own conjecture), but I think that he may know that he is in hot water with the FBI and Street. It may show how deep the problems/corruption run or it may be a case of the Keystone Cops....it will all play out.

"I would like to know what's up...," Street said then. "Because I know what I've done and I haven't done."

Translation: "I wonder which crimes they're on to me about, and which topics I should avoid mentioning so they don't start looking for even more bodies."

Only crooks think like this and say things like what he said.

Didn't Street appoint the police commissioner after he came to power (and didn't want to work with Timoney?)

I think the police commissioner might be squirming and job hunting as well.

They must have wanted Street to find the bug...pros can find better hiding places than the drop ceiling which would be the first place anyone would look and a likely environment for any maintenance worker.

" Linking mayor, muslims, and airport together..."

Don't forget the unstated...link inner city drugs and money laundering from various sideshows. Street is an old Philly political thug with fingers in many dirty pots.

"I think Gov. Rendell felt a chill..."

LOL, You know with his DNC ties there's plenty of dirt to sink him too. His wife being a judge makes it interesting. Rendell not only had the democratic dead voting but their dead pets voted as well.

Rizzo last ran as a Republican against Fast Eddie. As you said, he suffered a massive heart attack and died in his campaign office.

The left-wing, liberal Philadelphia Inquirer (WWW. PHILLY.COM) has a lame lead story about how Police Commissioner Sylvester Johnson used outside security experts to sweep the mayor's office without telling his bosses because he was afraid Philly cops couldn't keep a secret.

The Inquirer nearly always endorses Democrats, but they may change this time and go with Liberal Republican Sam Katz.

Vote fraud is always taken for granted in Philly and Katz will need a high percentage to win.

Yeah I gleaned that one already. I loved the comment on the three cops having the info and that it was leaked within 20 minutes. Like the problem is that we have leaky cops and not a corrupt mayor. Go figure????

I am dying over this story and cannot get anything! KYW is mum on it and it's an amorphous event. It needs shape and definition. There has been a lot of stuff going before a supervising federal judge on legal matters on this for at least a year and records have been subpoena'd and it's like it never took place? I know I'm in Wisconsin and all, but you'd think there would be some news other than police who can't keep a surprize party a secret?
