Ban on gay adoptions is an injustice to all (do I really need to add BARF ALERT?!)

A strong precedent for reversing anti-gay laws was set by the Supreme Court earlier this year with its rejection of a Texas sodomy statute that criminalized consensual sex between adult homosexuals.

The Texas decision sent a clear and correct message that discrimination solely on the basis of sexual orientation is unacceptable. That message must now be applied to the adoption issue.

...then it could very well come from the attitudes of others who give people with gay families a hard time. That doesn't make it any less real for the kid, but it points us in a better direction for fixing it. """""

That is what the APA said about their effort to take pedophilia out of the DSM directory. There is no mental illness just an issue of adjustment to society.

There is nothing to fix. You don't have to sacrifice another generation of children to the PC great society to know something like homosexual adoption is wrong.

Yes, gays target kids, and troubled kids even more so - they're easier targets. Yes, as I said, I know this from personal experience and I know this from actually being informed of the issue. My agenda is the truth which we're not getting from the media, and anytime we want to have a rational discussion from the facts I'm here.

One thing though: if kids have more trouble being raised in gay families (and nothing I've read about it says they do; as a matter of fact, studies show quite the opposite)

Please cite the studies that supports your statement. When you're ready for some reading on the subject, click here and perhaps then we can talk.

Every gay can leave the homosexual lifestyle, but it's never easy, especially when the truth (the major factor in determining homosexuality is environment), doesn't get reported by the media. All the research supports environment is the major factor in determining homosexuality. Why do you think the major media outlets don't report it?

You say you know of studies stating the opposite of what my studies report, but when asked to cite those reports you say:

Well, I don't know.

That's because the studies you claim to exist don't really exist. I've provided you with links that support my claim, and I've provided you with links that state the following:

It is important to note that serious research on the biology, innateness, or genetic determinants of homosexuality has only just recently begun. Exactly opposite to what the public is being led to believe, the research that has been done thus far suggests that genetic factors account for, at most, but a small proportion of the risk. J. M. Bailey and R. C. Pillard, two of the major researchers most widely cited as having demonstrated that "homosexuality is genetic," were forced to admit otherwise by the results of their own research.
They further state that "environment is of considerable importance" in determining homosexuality. Exactly what I've been saying all along.

So when you want to have a rational discussion on the facts of homosexuality, get back to me.

Tell 'em to make their own.

Unfortunately for them, they've chosen a lifestyle that makes it impossible. Yep, somebody got banned although I never really knew why as I came back to the forum and all his posts were gone.
