Dear Heavenly Father,
I thank You for this day and for the love which You have shown to us all. Lord, I thank You for the fall weather that brings all of the pretty colors and begins the rest that Your creation experiences in the winter. Lord, as we behold the beauty of this land, I pray that it will remind us how truly blessed we are, to live in a country that is free to worship You and free to share You with others. I pray that we will recognize these blessings of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness and that we will be a blessing to You as we go throughout our days.

Father, I lift up our President and ask that You would take hold of his heart as never before, so that he will not stray to the right or the left, but will stay steadfast in Your way. Give him strength and wisdom and help him to persevere and succeed in the face of his enemies.

Go with us the rest of this day. Be with Israel as she fights her enemies, and may Your name be glorified in all. For it is in the precious name of Christ Jesus my Lord that I pray these things, Amen.
