So Novak is already causing trouble in paradise saying how Arnold's camp is mad at McClintock......sheesh, the man needs to be indicted for revealing a CIA agent's name!

Regardless of his defeat, it was a heroic campaign and I'm proud to say I would vote for Tom McClintock again.

McClintock actually helped. By staying in the race he got more people to vote YES ON THE RECALL.
If he had dropped out his voters would have stayed home.

Actually three, the Bay Area can become SanFran, California south of the San Fernando Valley can become SoCal and the Central Valley, the foothills, the Tahoe Area can become ReCall(as in Real California.) the rest we could cede to Oregon.

Tom's support was double the margin by which Davis was recalled. Those who bash him might want to consider what the recall would look like if his voters had stayed home.
To: thoughtomator
Many of Tom McClintock's supporters would have stayed him if he did pull out, as for me, I would have still voted "Yes" on the recall question and for Diane Beall Templin of the American Independent Party to replace Gray Davis.
There is such a thing as third parties.

It would have been much better if Tom had stayed home.

So ?
He still didn't win. And to quote "Top Gun", the plaque for second place is downstairs in the ladies' restroom. . .
Campaign is over, can we all get back to the business at hand . . .
