Prediction.... Condi v. Hillary 2008
Source: (My Brain)
Why?
Hot on the heels of a DNC/Clinton/Panetta/Davis/Jackson v. Florida 2000 /LA Times department of information now recall then but recall now debacle, and in the middle of a General Clark meltdown, Condi Rice gets a full 25 minutes or so of air time on Fox News Channel.
Talking about the war on terror. Brilliant performance as usual.....
Enough to give Al Franken a splitting migraine for sure... Especially since we all know that the President has in place a direct phone line to Roger Ailes.
But seriously though, the feed was offered as breaking news on the cable network. Even cut into DaySide w/Linda Vester!
Fox is of course competing with Rush for audience. Competition is a good thing.
But after reading between the lines, I do think it may have some significance.
Go Condi Go!
easy flamers.. this is a vanity post

If you think the CA recall fight was ugly and divisive, just wait til the leftwing of the GOP tries to nominate a pro-abort for the presidential ticket, or remove the pro-life plank from the platform.
If they were to succeed on either count, which is HIGHLY unlikely, it would be the end of the Grand Old Party.

Rudy/Rice is our 2008 ticket. It wins both CA and NY. Election instantly over for the Dems.

Rudy/Rice is our 2008 ticket. It wins both CA and NY. Election instantly over for the Dems. Perhaps. Perhaps not. But the game would definitely be over permanently for the Republican Party. There are millions of Americans who will not support pro-aborts, period. They are the base of the GOP. They make up the vast majority of the delegates to the national convention. They ARE the nominating electorate.
You folks need to rethink this...you don't realize the tremendous damage you can perpetrate on the country by going down this path.

I don't know, I love Condi, but I don't see her running. She doesn't come across to me as the self promoting type... more of the very competent behind the scenes person worried about getting it done and done right, not the play for the cameras politician...
Who knows.

you need to rethink the effects of a Hillary presidency on our country. she would open an abortion clinic in the basement of the white house for god's sake. As it stands now, we have no one who could beat her in 2008. Rudy, if elected president, would retain whatever the status quo on the abortion issue was at that time, he wouldn't be a champion either way, he would be neutral on it (same for gun control). Can you say the same about Hillary?

If Hitlery even would
contemplate running against Condi Rice (who, so it's said, doesn't even want to seek the Presidency), she should be preemptively locked up as an outright psychotic.
Party considerations aside, Condi will pick up %ages of women voters, and sizeable %ages of black voters, and her only %age demographic of loss is among racist voters, which by this time is not a nationally significant group. 'Rat candidates CANNOT win any other than a local race without gigantic majorities of blacks and notable majorities of women (with the obvious exception of carefully gerrymandered Regressional districts).
Add to this mix the fact that Hitlery has the highest negatives of any political figure in American history (barring possibly Nixon in the depths of the Watergate scandal, depending on who's doing the counting), and you've got a 45+ state win for Condi.

I disagree. The Clintons will be out of power (perhaps in jail) by then. After last night the only hope they have of staying in power is for her to run in 2004. Truth be told, the longer they hold the reigns of power in the DNC the better it is for the GOP. It is getting to the point that they are really on the brink of pushing the party into the dustbin of history.
The funny thing is we can point this out to the koolaid drinkers all day long and they'll just fill up another mug of koolaid.

Rudy/Rice 2008 would blow dems into permanent oblivion.
