Schwarzenegger - Trouble for California Schools?
Vanity | 10/8/03 | ArGee

As if California public schools didn't face enough problems, now they have to teach their children how to spell Schwarzenegger.

Personally, I don't think they are up to the challenge.

Shalom.

I have never tried to spell it. I always have and always will call him Arnold. I too have a difficult to spell last name, but Arnold's makes mine seem like Smith.

I think the problem is more insidious than you realize. In future years, California schoolchildren can skate on their book reports by simply watching "Predator" or "Total Recall" and claim they were doing political research.

Maybe he will offer them MORE MONEY to teach this difficult new skill. Imagine the millions that could be spent just on teacher training seminars ...

I must admit to using the old cut-n-paste myself. I can't spell Shwartzhegennegger Schwarzeneger Shwartzamajigger Arnold's last name to save my life.

Shalom.

I cringe when I think of the possibilities of what will be posted under his picture in the hallways of California public schools.

You are right - they will have to spend millions to train teachers, administrators, etc, to spell Schwarzenegger.

Perhaps Arnold can levy a tax on letters in your last name?

Shalom.

Antonio Villaraigosa ran for L.A. mayor against Hahn and lost. Former speaker of the Calbanian Assembly, Mexican nationalist extraordinaire, Marxist turd, (former? or still?) MeCHa moron and all-around Aztlan azthole not worth the effort to grind up for taco meat.
