It is disingenuous for the Party leadership to call for unity when they have already betrayed that principle themselves. So, I would prefer to clean house and let the PEOPLE, the would in this case be registered Republicans, call the shots.

Unity is not an end unto itself. (Germany in the 30's was unified around nazism.) The question is: Unify around what?
