TOM MCCLINTOCK DAILY EDITION - 10/8/03 - GOING DARK!
Posted on 10/08/2003 7:10:21 AM PDT by Rabid Dog
As many of you know this has been a local, regional, national news and views thread. I want to thank all of you that have respected its intent. When I first started this thead, I was on the fence between Arnold and Tom. Within a week, it became clear that Tom was the man I could respect and support.
Within a month it became clear that the CA G.O.P. was not an organization I could respect and support and so I have switched parties and will be changing my screen name to Rabid Dog.
Tomorrow I am entering Freeper Detox and will be drying out for a week or so but am looking foward to discussing the changes in California under the leadership of our new governor - ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER!!

A LOYAL person is one that balances the good of the party and the state ahead of themselves when conditions require that.
McClintock failed completely and though I hope he enjoys his Indian money, he doesn't deserve a crack at another race.

Yeah, I heard the same thing from the communists about the 'party'. You are what you are and we all know what you are.

Your knee-jerk reaction to losing reminds me of remarks found on DU by a FReeper and posted here last night. The dim said he was going to leave the country because Arnold had won. That's a somewhat drastic response to having lost an election, as is yours. But, hey, whatever floats your boat.
I hear the Independents, the party of Arianna are looking for new members.

I wish all of us here in California good luck with what is ahead. I do too mate. Tom summed it up for me when he said that people were looking at Arizona and Nevada as preferable places to live. Ive snowboarded all over this great State and seen the beauty of the place and I would hate to leave it.

the anchor
that keeps us from completely sliding off the cliff, has been marginalized by its own party,
National Federation of Republican Assemblies
- That the Constitution was written to govern a moral and religious people and it is being destroyed by those who are neither.
- To maintain the integrity of the Republican party platform based on correct moral and constitutional principles. Then to use the platform as a criteria of accountability for elected officials.

That is right, I am the person who remembers McClintock put himself ahead of the party or the people and believes attempted muggings should not be rewarded.

Well - I started thinking about it during the third week of the recall and announced my decision on this board over two weeks ago - but if it gives you something to snipe about - go for it. I've yet to see anything else coming out of the southland.

It's Party - with a capital P and a certain inflection when said.
To: A CA Guy
Oh when will you be gone you irksome harpy?
To: Rabid Republican
My mother is a Democ
rat. Interestingly enough, I still talk to her. Guess that makes me a sell out.
Enjoy your time with Buchanan, Perot and LaRouche. Funny thing about Echo Chambers... they may be loud on the inside, but nobody on the outside hears them.

Talking to a democrat doesn't make you a sell out.
To: Rabid Republican
Sniping? Who's sniping? I just offered my opinion. I hope your decision serve you well...I really do. Say hi to Arianna for me.

To: SONbrad
No clue - I don't know him at all personally.
He's still a young guy. I would imagine that he will stay with the Republican Party as long as its platform remains the same.
To: South40
Sniping - your opinion - what's the difference?
To: pollywog
If you're uuncomfortable in the Republican Party, the AIP is one party that stands for conservative values.

Not sure - I'll switch parties like the Terminator changes appearances in order to vote in the elections.
