I can understand trying to put a good spin on it and trying to rhetorically turn this to their advantage, but I'm laughing because I think some Democrats actually start believing their own spin.

California cast over 60% of their votes last night for Republicans in a state where there are only about 35% registered republicans. The only thing the democrat party has left to sell is fear, lies and, if they can get their hands on them, videotapes.
