Mulholland claimed that during the '92 campaign, Pubs called 43 "Bush Jr."
Hume says, "funny, I covered that campaign and I don't remember that ever being said..."

(and so does Xlinton)
To: ambrose
He was referring to W as "Bush, Jr.," and Brit Hume asked him who Bush, Jr. was. He stated that W was always referred to as Jr. by the Bush I White House. Brit Hume said he had never heard that in all his time covering the Bush I White House.

I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think Californians have the stomach for a second recall. Or the money.

Brit: Who is Bush Jr.?
A-hole: The current President. Bush Sr. served only one term.
Brit: They do have different names, [Prez Bush is not a Jr.]
A-hole: He was called Jr. when his father was in the White House, on the campaign...
Brit: Gee, I covered his campaign quite closely and never heard him called that, but I guess you're a better [ahem] observer [or something like that.]

Funny... if they wait 100 days, it means that by the time it qualifies (if it qualifies), the recall would be held during the Nov. 2004 election! Arnold crushes their recall attempt, and gives W. coattails ..

Why do these dems just keep making themselves look more idiotic. They could probably beging to dig themselves out of a hole by taking the high road, taking responsibility and going from there. Here they are trying to blame it all on "Bush Jr". Yes, Brit slapped him down so hard on that comment. Claimed that is what he was called on the campaign trail for his dad. Brit said, I was there covering the campaign, and I never heard that. Bob just looked stunned. Anyway, let them continue to be idiots.
