Art Torres just said on Fox that 300,000 people in Los Angeles are wandering around unable to find their polling places. Is that like wandering around your house trying to find your car keys or something?

I havent seen Matthews since about 2 hours ago and he was wonderful to watch for once. O'Donnell was the most partisan hack I have seen all night on TV. Ceci Connely on Greta is clearly "saddened" by the results.

"Its 2000 all over again! The Republicans have stolen another one!" To their warped minds, ANY vote for a Republican is a stolen vote. After all, nobody in their right mind would INTEND to vote Republican, right?

I hate Chris Matthews, but earlier tonight he had a good line. He said the voters in California sent a message to Gray Davis: "You suck!"

Torres has already as much as admitted that the RATS are going to be in court tomorrow morning.

"Weve been getting calls since 7 AM this morning from seniors and others who can't find their polling place. We are sitting at computers with Mapquest giving them directions." --Art Torres, Democrat Party Chair, California.

Students at CSU Monterrey Bay didn't have a polling place on their campus and were apparently pretty stupid ---
(this is some kid named Reed, someone in student government:
"Some of them didn't read (the ballot packet sent by the county)," he said. "The key for us was to make everyone aware that wasn't junk mail the county sent you, it was VBM (vote by mail).
"After the memo, people reacted like, 'Oh my gosh, I didn't know what it was, I threw it away,'" said Reed. "As usual there were a thousand stories about why they discarded it or misassumed what it was or wasn't."

300,000 people wandering around L.A. with no idea of where they are going is the normal state of affairs there.

Tim Russert looks like he's been at a funeral but agrees that the LA Times were sleezy and that the people of the state were "angry and furious -- and they blame one person -- Gray Davis."
Of course, here comes the spin -- that it's not just anger in California, but a trend of angry voters that could sweep across the country and affect Republican incumbents, e.g., Alabamam Gov. Riley (never mind that little detainl that Alabama has no recall provision). It's just a throw away line against the Repub.

Blaming Bush for Cali's economic problems. Who said "All politics is local?"
McAuliffe has a Bush obsession that blinds him.

If that story line had any traction, Gray Davis would have wone recall.
To: William McKinley
Terry McAuliffe also spoke about how hard Arnold would have trying to fix things with no experience while fending off lawsuits over the sexual battery charges. Do they really think those allegations are going anywhere?

LOL!!!! I think it is time to force a resolution that anyone who is too stupid to find their voting location or is unable to comprehend how to handle a chad should not be able to cast a vote that affects the rest of us. I am becoming disenfranchised!!
Dang, these guys are way too funny!

Art Torres just said on Fox that 300,000 people in Los Angeles are wandering around unable to find their polling places. Sounds like distant cousins of some Broward Co. Flori-DUH residents.

To their warped minds, ANY vote for a Republican is a stolen vote. After all, nobody in their right mind would INTEND to vote Republican, right? You should read the thread about how they get so uptight when they go to vote. They do not like to get out and mingle. One was hallucinating just before voting that thought they might punch the wrong hole and actually vote for the recall.
They are actually advising each other to vote absentee so they don't have to deal with it!!
