Tim Russert looks like he's been at a funeral but agrees that the LA Times were sleezy and that the people of the state were "angry and furious -- and they blame one person -- Gray Davis."

Of course, here comes the spin -- that it's not just anger in California, but a trend of angry voters that could sweep across the country and affect Republican incumbents, e.g., Alabamam Gov. Riley (never mind that little detainl that Alabama has no recall provision). It's just a throw away line against the Repub.

Oh yeah, over at DU, they're trying to figure out when to circulate petitions for AS's recall. No one knows that you have to wait 6 months. Reminds me of fish flopping on the dock.
